The arithmetic
What are the calls you miss actually costing?
Three numbers, one of which is a judgement call. It is set low on purpose, and the page says exactly why.
8
Rang out, engaged, or straight to voicemail. Most people guess low — the phone bill knows.
£180
The whole invoice, not the deposit.
20%
The one number nobody can prove. Left low on purpose — see below.
Work recovered a year
£14,976
£1,248 a month — about 6.9 extra jobs from 35 missed calls.
Where this number comes from
- Two of the three inputs are yours. The sum is calls × 52 × booking rate × job value — check it on a phone if you like.
- The booking rate is an assumption, not a finding. Every published figure for it comes from a company selling this kind of software — case studies claiming 30% to 42%, no independent study anywhere. So it starts at 20%, below the lowest of them.
- Once you are running, the console reports what actually happened against the same funnel — missed call, text, click, booking — so you can hold this estimate to account rather than take it on trust.
Find out what the real number is.
Setup takes about ten minutes. After that the console reports what actually happened, which is the only figure that counts.
