Enforced, not promised

Your data cannot leak into another business

Separation is enforced by database policies, not by application code. A query that forgot its filter returns nothing rather than somebody else’s customers — and a test proves it by running as the real role and trying.

Checked by a test that runs as the real database role and tries.

Two customers cannot take the same slot

A database constraint forbids overlapping bookings on the same resource. Not a check in the browser that a slow connection can skip: the write itself is refused, and one of the two is offered the nearest alternative.

We never see a card number

Card details are entered on Stripe’s own pages. Calendar access tokens are encrypted before they are stored, and links sent to your customers carry a token we keep only as a hash.

Questions

The ones we actually get asked.

What does "start free" actually mean?
14 days on Starter — 250 texts and 100 bookings a month — with no card taken and nothing to cancel. It is the real plan rather than a cut-down demo: the same recovery texts, the same booking page, the same calendar sync. If it has not paid for itself in 14 days you have lost nothing but the ten minutes of setup.
What happens on day 15?
Nothing, today. We have not switched card payments on yet, so no card was taken and nothing can be charged — your texts keep going out and we will get in touch to sort a plan out with you rather than cutting you off at midnight. That is an honest description of where we are up to, not a policy we are promising forever.
What happens to my number?
Nothing you have to undo. You keep your existing number and point call forwarding at the one we give you, so calls ring your phone exactly as they do now — Ringback only acts on the ones you do not answer. If you stop using us, you turn the forwarding off and you are back where you started. Your number is yours; we never take ownership of it.
What if I already have a booking system?
Then you may not need this. Ringback is not a diary — it is the bit that turns a missed call into a booking. If your existing system already does that from a text within seconds of the call, keep it. If it only takes bookings from people who find your website, the missed calls are still going somewhere else.
Do I have to sign in to use it?
No, and it is built on the assumption you will not. Jobs arrive in the calendar you already use and confirmations arrive by text. The console is for setting things up and for the occasional look at whether it is working. If you never open it again after setup, the product still does its job.
What if two people book the same slot?
They cannot. That is enforced by a constraint in the database rather than a check in the browser, so it holds even when two people tap at the same second on a bad connection. One booking wins and the other is immediately offered the nearest alternative times.
Will it text my customers things they did not ask for?
No. A recovery text is a reply to a call somebody just made to you — that is a transactional message, and it is kept separate from anything promotional. Opt-outs are honoured across both, permanently, and there is a screen showing you exactly which messages were held back and why.
What happens if I go over the texts included?
Nothing stops. Your messages keep sending and we get in touch if it stays that way — a missed-call reply is how you earn, and cutting it off to protect our margin would be the wrong way round. The console shows what you have used against what is included.
What happens to my calls if your service goes down?
They still ring your phone. Twilio holds a fallback URL for your number, and ours dials your handset directly without touching our database — so a bad deploy or an unreachable database on our side does not become a dropped call on yours. Two honest caveats: a call that comes through that way is connected but not logged, so it cannot be texted back if you miss it, and if Twilio itself is down there is nothing either of us can do. You can also turn the forwarding off from your own handset in about ten seconds and be back exactly where you started.
How long does setup take?
About ten minutes, once. Services and prices, your working hours, the number, and a calendar if you want the jobs to land in it. There is a checklist that tells you what is left.

Work out what you are losing first.

No card needed to start. Recovery texts are transactional and kept separate from marketing — privacy policy and terms.
