For electricians

The call you cannot answer is the job you do not get.

You are halfway up a ladder with a tester in one hand, or in a loft where there is no signal anyway. The phone rings out in the van two floors down, and nothing about the job you are on lets you climb back down for it.

Why it costs electricians more

They are not shopping around. They are picking whoever answers.

A lot of electrical work arrives as a quote request rather than an emergency, which sounds less urgent and is not: somebody collecting three quotes will call three electricians in one sitting, and the two who answer get to price the job. The one who calls back tomorrow is quoting against a decision already made.

14% of calls to a home-services business go unanswered

CallRail 1.1 million leads analysed in January 2025. Healthcare missed 32%, legal 28%, home services 14%, real estate 9%.

The question electricians ask first

Most of my work needs quoting first. What use is a booking link?

Make the first slot a survey rather than the job. Twenty minutes to look at it, priced at whatever you charge for that or at nothing — the point is that you are in the diary while the other two are still waiting for a call back. What lands in your calendar is an appointment to quote, not a commitment to a price you have not seen.

There is also a list of what this product deliberately does not do — worth reading before you buy rather than after. It is on the how-it-works page.

Ten minutes to set up. Then you can forget about it.
