For plasterers
The call you cannot answer is the job you do not get.
The mix is on the wall and it is going off to its own timetable, not yours. Stopping to answer the phone means coming back to a wall that has moved on without you and a finish that shows it. So you work through it, and you work through the next one too.
Why it costs plasterers more
They are not shopping around. They are picking whoever answers.
A plasterer is booked in days, not hours, and the diary is the whole business. Somebody ringing round for a ceiling next week will take whoever can give them a date — and a date is exactly what a missed call cannot give them. You are not losing the job to a better plasterer, you are losing it to one who was standing still when the phone went.
14% of calls to a home-services business go unanswered
CallRail — 1.1 million leads analysed in January 2025. Healthcare missed 32%, legal 28%, home services 14%, real estate 9%.

The question plasterers ask first
I need to see the room before I can say how long it will take.
Book the look, not the job. Fifteen minutes to price it, at whatever you charge for that. The booking asks what the room is and roughly how big — so you arrive knowing whether it is a patch or two days, and you have the slot in the diary rather than a voicemail you will return at eight tonight.
There is also a list of what this product deliberately does not do — worth reading before you buy rather than after. It is on the how-it-works page.
